Top 5 plugins that you need on your WordPress site

These days I realized that 1 year has passed as I’m officially working as a developer and I teach CMS in IT institute. So in this post I’m starting a new “Tips and Hints” series about WordPress mainly and others websites and software themes. Of course, all of them based on my own experience.

In this current post I’m going to talk about the top 5 plugins, which I think you definitely need to have in your WordPress website. So, let’s begin!

1. Yoast SEO

Of course that I’m starting with a plugin for SEO. We all know that without SEO, your site will stay mostly unknown or only few people will know about it. Yoast SEO is probably the best plugin, which can help you optimize your site according to Google’s requirements. It’s easy to use, it shows you how to write and what you miss in your page/publication, it generates your XML sitemap and helps you to set up with your social media management. What to want more? I think it’s perfect!

When you’re a business owner, one very important thing is to have a connection with your customers. Of course, not only businessmen needs it, everyone having a website needs it. Here comes the easiest and very flexible plugin “Contact Form 7”, which lets you create as many contact forms as you need. You can design your form simply and with just a small knowledge of HTML, it can be even beautiful. It supports Ajax-powered submitting, CAPTCHA, Akismet spam filtering and so on.

The MailChimp plugin is as it’s written on its name – plugin for mail subscription service. The main specification here is that you need to register in their site first, and then to connect your account with your site in the plugin settings.

4. W3 Total Cache

This plugin is very useful if you want to speed up your site, but believe me, it’s very tricky one as well. I’m pretty much content with its work, but if you’re going to use it, be careful with minify options. The last update cause lots of problems, but I’m still sure that this is one of the best plugins for optimizing your site’s performance.
